Franciscan Monastery of St. Clare

A COMMUNITY OF POOR CLARE NUNS, CINCINNATI, OHIO, USA

Praying for the needs of the Church and the World

Our Community Prayer Schedule

As Contemplatives, Our Life is Prayer

Our Typical Day at the Monastery

Before gathering for Morning Prayer at 7:30 am, many of us have already spent time in personal prayer, had a "pick up" breakfast, and perhaps done some form of exercise. Our last community gathering of the day is Night Prayer at 7:30 pm, but many of us also use the time after Night Prayer for more personal prayer. We consider the quiet hours of the morning and evening as special times of grace.
